This is a take on Jamie At Home’s, Cauliflower Fritters. His fritters are cut up rather large and chunky. I made mine popper-like, with the image of popcorn in my head.

Indian Fried Chicken
September 16th, 2011
Sharon Or should I call this mamak fried chicken? My husband loves nasi lemak. It’s in his ‘favourite last meals’ list. I’ve been putting off challenging myself to make nasi lemak for him because frankly, just the thought of it sounds tedious. A nasi lemak’s main components are; coconut rice, sambal relish, peanut and ikan bilis [...]
Mega Garlic and Thyme Roast Potatoes
September 15th, 2011
Sharon My name is Sharon. I’m addicted to garlic. Most people would’ve been satisfied with just a light coating of garlic on their roast potatoes, but not me….oh no….I am going all out! I’m not sure if this dish is acceptable for dinner parties but even when you bite into these pungent spuds, it’s not overpowering [...]

Ballads of Salads! – Homemade Croutons
September 10th, 2011
Sharon I want to share 3 of my favourite croutons recipes. I always believe that if you can make it yourself, go homemade. I’m not sure about other countries but in Malaysia, store-bought croutons are not the cheapest thing in the world. I know I keep talking about how food stuff is pricey or that ingredient [...]
Ballads of Salads! – Shrimp and Avocado Salad
September 10th, 2011
Sharon Avocados are such a great ingredient. Not only do they have great health attributes, they’re really delicious. You’ll find avocados commonly in Japanese eateries where they make special sushis out of it. I love avocados, I don’t think there is anything about the taste or smell that is unappealing, frankly I think they make delicious [...]
